What this policy covers

This policy describes AstroStash, published under the developer name Weriuy, and this support website. Our support and privacy contact is astrostash.support@gmail.com.

Cards on your device

AstroStash stores the card names, barcode content and formats, notes, preferences, and front/back photos you choose to save in private app storage. Barcode recognition, photo rotation and cropping take place on your device. The app does not send your card collection to Weriuy or an app server.

The Android app has no Internet permission, app accounts, ads, analytics, tracking SDKs or built-in cloud synchronisation.

Camera and photo access

Camera permission is requested when you choose scanning or photography. Gallery images are selected through Android's picker without broad access to the photo library. Selected photos are copied to private storage, resized and saved without source metadata. Rotation and cropping do not change the original gallery file. Temporary photo drafts can remain in the private app cache.

Optional App lock

App lock is off by default. If enabled, Android verifies supported strong biometrics or the phone's PIN, pattern or password on a fresh app start or after two minutes in the background. Authentication is also required to enable or disable the setting. AstroStash receives an authentication result, not biometric templates or your screen-lock credential.

The App lock preference stays on your device. Unlocked state is not persisted or included in card exports. The app hides recent-app previews while the setting is enabled. This is an access control; it does not separately encrypt the stored card database.

Encrypted backups

You can export cards, notes and photos in a password-encrypted backup. You select the destination through Android's file picker. If you choose a cloud storage provider, that provider handles the encrypted file under its own policies. Weriuy does not receive the backup password and cannot recover a forgotten password.

Automatic Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer of AstroStash's private data are excluded. Keep your own encrypted export when changing phones.

Optional feedback and email

Send feedback opens your email app with our support address and your AstroStash version filled in. Add your message and review it before sending. Nothing is sent automatically, and AstroStash does not attach cards, photos, passwords or logs.

If you send email from the app or this website, Weriuy receives your email address and whatever you include so we can respond. Your email service and our Gmail service handle the message. Support correspondence remains in the support mailbox unless deleted. Contact astrostash.support@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests to delete support emails. Please do not send card numbers, card photos or backup passwords unless necessary and specifically discussed with support.

Deletion and retention

Saved cards remain until you delete them or remove the app's data. Deleting a card removes its saved entry and private photos. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes the local collection and preferences. Temporary drafts can be removed by clearing the app cache or by Android.

Original gallery photos and exported backups remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted separately. Weriuy cannot remotely access or delete your on-device collection.

Website hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request information to deliver and protect the pages. Website requests do not contain the card collection stored in the Android app.

These pages include no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking pixels or contact forms. Support links open your email service. Cloudflare's own privacy information is available at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

Security and other services

Private app storage relies on Android and device security. AstroStash does not separately encrypt the live card database. Protect your phone with a screen lock, install device updates, and safeguard backup passwords and exported files. No app can guarantee absolute security.

Android, Google Play, camera and picker apps, email services and storage providers have their own terms and privacy practices.

Contact and changes

For support, privacy questions or support-email deletion requests, contact astrostash.support@gmail.com. Material changes to these practices will be reflected in this policy and the app's privacy information. The date above identifies the latest policy revision.
